Supply Planner

The Supply Planner is responsible for creating a supply plan that consistently satisfies company demand across all regions while controlling excessive costs for assigned product categories. The Supply Planner also manages collaboration and integration efforts with other groups such as demand planning, materials management, global factories, procurement, finance and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Execute a robust integration with other  planning processes e.g. Demand, Inventory & Material Management, S&OP.
- Execute  robust integration with other processes and stakeholders (e.g. Global Factories, Market Supply, Material Management, Purchasing, Demand Planning, Finance, etc.).
- Create and maintain company‘s capability to provide comprehensive information, analytics and visibility around Product Supply status to all cross functional stakeholders.
- Lead the functional Supply Network Planning to aggregate a demand plan and then develop a feasible Production Plan (consensus with Demand Planning and other stakeholders) for each planning cycle.
- Provide on target service levels by balancing supply and inventory levels for each part.
- Escalate all major supply constraints to the respective forums for rapid resolution (ie. Demand Planning, Sales, Order Management, Market Supply, GPC’s).
- Accountable to run and insure integrity of Supply Consensus; Supply Review processes in support of S&OP.
- Support RSC-Mason in inventory planning to the demand plan; Work with  S&OP  and Demand Planning to develop Demand Consensus; Demand Review; New Product Review; Financial Reconciliation and Management.
- Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios and develop recommendations in response to actual or anticipated changes in demand or supply.
- Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios to continuously improve performance relating to both service levels and total costs thru continuous evaluation of supply, outsourcing strategies, product strategies and the positioning of inventory across the network.
- Accountable for leading the Supply Consensus/Supply Review processes, communicate decisions and supply impacts to all stakeholders, escalation and prioritization of supply responses around all issues and opportunities impacting customer service to stakeholder.
- Monitoring of assigned SKU’s and determination of the correct materials planning parameters, with special focus on introduction of new product and phase out of product lines.
- Analysis and execution of logistical optimization measures.
- Coordination of relocation of materials.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain Planner/Analyst in Material Management for new items and items to be transitioned or discontinued and update the material catalogue at RSC.
- Conduct ah-hoc analysis requests, forecasts, KPIs/Metrics, and reports within Supply Chain using SAP R/3, established tools & process, and using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, Access).
- Provide support to Supply Chain Planning team with developing and updating Material Masters (30,000+) active spare parts.
- Using demand & supply planning software SAP R/3 and APO, trend, variance and root cause analysis, make demand planning correction action and improvement, as well as obsolescence management recommendations, and lead decision-making process for demand planning and cross-functional teams.
- Report on supply-related and demand planning issues and make recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Science or Engineering, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2-3 years of ERP planning experience.
- Prefer 2-4 years of Supply Planning across a global network preferably from a global company utilizing world class planning and execution processes of APO (DP/SNP).
- SAP r/3 planning proficiency (MM, PP), and Advanced Planning Systems (SAP APO) minimum 2 years of SNP  or DP experience.
- Ability to work with large amount of data via Excel and Microsoft Access.
- High analytical skills, and holistic thinker.
- Ability to effectively present information to top  management, and various stakeholders.
- Experience in obsolescence management and inventory planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead decision-making process for cross-functional teams, and to exercise independent judgment on decisions involving business risk.
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel is expected.
