The concept of risk is not something we delight in thinking about or planning for with your busy schedules. However, a supply chain can be affected in a variety of ways, some of which can be more severe than others. This seminar will give you tools and techniques to better manage those areas often deemed out of their control and devise a safety net of protection for the firm. Areas addressed will include: shortage of global materials supply, acts of terrorism, military coup, need for ‘war time insurance’ for ocean vessels, sole source issues, a change of management focus, economic issues concerns, acts of God, environmental concerns, lack of having a defined supply backup plan, and more.

This meeting will run from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM daily.

This session is developed for all purchasing and supply chain professionals who are focused on the strategic impact and protection of the organizations supply chain. While focused toward the buyer and SCM professional managers at all levels from Directors, Vice-President and EVP need to attend to support the activities and recommendation necessary to provide such protection of the organization’s revenue and profit stream.
