About Our Client
My client is a global food and beverage company located in a brand new office space in the West LA area. The company holds a top-tier platform within their market and have been in business for over a century. With offices all across the globe and products sold within every major grocery chain, my client continues to grow in profit and size year over year.

Job Description
- Communicates effectively with all departments within the business and with trading partners regarding changes in the forecasts of products.
- Participates in the development, maintenance and improvement of statistical forecasting methods, processes, tools and procedures.
- Reviews all historical marketing/sales trends, sales and financial projections to provide accurate product forecasts including forecasts for the discontinuity of products.
- Compiles an arrangement of reports regarding forecast performance to target opportunities and trends in improving the demand signal.
- Forecast product demands according to needs, seasons, selling price, promotions, etc.
- Help to drive best practices and S&OP standardization across all teams
- Provide the direction and training to other people involved within the forecasting process.
- Identify short and medium-term business risks through the analysis and identification of data
- Monitor and provide recommendations for obsolete, slow moving, and discontinued inventory
- Participate in ongoing SKU rationalization initiatives in order to keep the product portfolio profitable from a production and revenue stand point

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or similar field
- 3-5 years of finished goods forecasting/demand planning/S&OP experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Communicates efficiently and effectively and interacts professionally with co-workers, management, and executives.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising excellent business judgment.
- Must be an analytical individual along with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- APICS certification is ideal
- Numeric data proficiency as well as proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel experience
