Ranked in the top 50 of Fortune Magazine's Top 100 Companies to Work For, this Multinational Financial Services Organisation is seeking a Category Manager to head up the Human Resources Procurement Category with a specific focus on Talent Development and Learning and Development (L&D). Within this role, you will have the opportunity to telecommute (work from home) with infrequent travel requirements. The organisation, which has over 200,000 employees worldwide, is a financial services organisation, with a number of global clients including a number of Fortune 100 Clients.

You will report to the Head of Indirect Procurement and have a close working relationship with senior HR stakeholders (including the Global Talent Development Lead) to create and implement various procurement strategies across the US. Transforming the HR function of this organisation, you should have the drive to develop and implement multiple procurement strategies for your assigned categories, specifically Talent Development and L&D.

This role offers you the ability to telecommute and be based at home, working for an established Multinational Financial Services Organisation. You will be reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement and be expected to provide end-to-end delivery of sourcing projects and category management across the HR category.

As the Procurement Category Manager for Talent Development, you will be responsible for:
* Working with key business stakeholders to develop key procurement targets for your assigned HR procurement categories.
* Developing and fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and report on the progress of various procurement strategies.
* Creating and agreeing procurement strategies to ensure that cost reduction targets are met through cost saving and cost avoidance within your assigned Talent Development category.
* Improving negotiable spend by analysing vendor performance and existing sourcing strategies.
* Working in conjunction with other procurement teams to implement the overall procurement strategy for the organisation across your regions.

Key Skills Sought
* Procurement experience within the HR category (preferably Talent Development and/or Learning and Development)
* Experience in Source to Pay (S2P) processes and working with software such as Oracle or SAP systems.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (business, accounting, HR etc.). A follow on degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
* A proven strong ability to communicate with and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analysis, management and negotiation skills.
