Our client is a consumer products company and global leader in their industry.

Job Description

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for analyzing multiple sources of data to prepare monthly forecasts.

The Demand Planning manager is accountable for maintaining the demand planning business process within the company and make sure that forecasts are accurate for several demand streams. The Demand Planning function will work to generate a monthly detailed report of the product plan, which will be the basis for the company's revenue and gross margin plan.

  • Manage the overall monthly demand planning cycle
  • Lead monthly demand planning meetings with key stakeholders to review data
  • Driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy
  • Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track product plan accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning team to ensure the product plan translates into an accurate Revenue Forecast
  • Identify and communicate key financial risks associated with the product plan
  • Perform ad-hoc analytics on product plan using Excel and SAP Business Intelligence tools
  • Management and mentorship of a Supply Chain Planner

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical/problem-solving and administrative skills.
  • 5 + years of experience in a forecast, capacity, production or supply planning role
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Direct experience working in SAP preferred
