As a member of the Serialization Supply Chain Data team, help create supply chain of data for faster and effective decision making. Responsible for managing the implementation of supply chain data related projects that uncover new patterns and insights through capabilities such as end to end inventory visibility, control tower, big data and product traceability. The role will support data related activities including operational activities across multiple functional areas within supply chain Key responsibilities - Work with SC Data Director in shaping supply chain of data strategy for faster and effective decision making.
- Under the leadership of data director, partner with SC Data Lead, BI&A and Commercial organizations to translate business strategies into data roadmap.
- Lead efforts in helping business units identify opportunities and lead them to leverage data to create business value, using serialization data.
- Actively identify new areas where Data can be leveraged across the BMS Supply chain to meet business objectives and strategy.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process and long-term direction and align plans between stakeholders in BI&A and IT organization
- Explores relationships between serialization data & Supply chain data and identify opportunities to help in building better operations, product planning and forecast
- Partner with both the business and our technical and functional project teams to gather business requirements, design and implement solutions, drive standardization, prepare for testing and adhere/contribute towards the blueprint for future business implementations
- Champion innovation across strategy, technology, data and analytics to provide supply chain visibility leveraging data & technology to drive supply chain value
- Manage and lead the implementation of the strategic data projects to provide accurate data insight across supply chain
- In partnership with IT, create effective data choreography protocols with external SC partners (CMO’s, 3PLs, Wholesalers, Customers) for real/near real time visibility to support accurate decision making.
- Collaborate with E2E supply chain and external stakeholders such as BI&A and Commercial Organization in delivery of key SC data programs
- Perform supply chain operational data maturity assessment in conjunction with master data organization in order to ensure operational data quality is accurate.
- Manage implementation of assigned cross-functional strategic data initiatives such as SC visibility, Logistics Control Tower.
Professional experience and qualifications Education: - B.S. or BA in supply chain with emphasis on SC Data. PMI certification a plus.
- Knowledge of Big Data and Data Visualization in context of manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Experience / Knowledge Desired: - At least 5 years E2E Supply Chain data management; proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to drive tangible results
- Extensive experience and understanding in implementing ERP solutions in association with successful critical change management & communication elements; demonstrated passion for data quality / integrity
- Demonstrated experience of leading a large scale SC data effort for a large (10B+ revenue), big data and complex business in pharmaceutical, consumer or technology industries
- Balanced experience in both Commercial and Operations / Manufacturing dimensions of the business desired
- Deep knowledge and functional expertise of SAP solutions & modules for Supply Chain/Manufacturing applications
- Sound understanding of end to end pharmaceutical supply chain including 3PLs, wholesalers & customers
- Ability to negotiate and influence with and without authority, in complex and high impact situations.
- Ability to quickly learn and integrate into a matrix organization across geographical and cultural boundaries
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as tableau, spotfire a plus
