Description
As our Sourcing/Costing Analyst, you'll create and execute long range and seasonal sourcing plans for assigned categories or products. You'll represent Sourcing in cross functional line planning, material selection and development to ensure product needs and factory capabilities are built into the timelines and process. You'll offer manufacturing alternatives to resolve design, development and costing challenges. You'll provide category sourcing strategy and direction to product creation centers, home office operations and Nike Liaison teams while collaborating to select the most appropriate manufacturing source to meet delivery, quality and pricing needs. You'll analyze manufacturing capabilities, capacities, and cost expectation alongside Geography demand requirements to anticipate and avoid issues. In addition, you'll collaborate with the supply planning and margin planning teams to ensure category source direction and cost are tracking to targets.

Qualifications
Requirements for this position include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 2 + years' work experience in a supply chain related environment, with Product Sourcing, Forecasting, Supply planning and Purchase planning
  • 2 years' additional relevant work experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, textile manufacturing, costing, pattern making, embroidery and screen-printing skills desirable
  • Comprehensive apparel source base knowledge including awareness of processes and events from product concept to delivery desirable
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a strong sense of self-motivation
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing demands
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills and ability to resolve conflict
  • Mid-Advanced knowledge of Excel, Database query (Access, Cognos, Brio), analysis, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Nike Planning and Sourcing Database systems, tools and reports desired
  • Has ability to report into leadership, work with confidence across many areas of the organization (PCC, Design, Merch, etc.)
  • Product creation process and commercialization knowledge is helpful
  • Project management and Nike product experience is also preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, including overseas travel
