About Our Client

Our client is a multinational professional services firm, with a focus on building out their indirect procurement group across the US and internationally.

Job Description

The Director, Procurement will be responsible for establishing spend figures and proper procurement processes for HR, Marketing, Travel, Professional Services categories within North America. They will be managing a team of 4 direct reports, with growth plans to hire on a larger team in the short to mid-term time frame. The Director, Procurement will establish proper procurement processes and standardization's across all group companies and affiliates, while partnering with internal stakeholders to explain new changes as well as address concerns / needs for the group. The position will report to the SVP of Procurement, and be involved with the simultaneous strategy and execution of our clients global indirect procurement program.

The Successful Applicant

The Director, Procurement will have 10 years indirect procurement management experience, either in a corporate or consulting setting. They will be hands-on, able to roll up their sleeves and handle suppliers, contract negotiations etc. as well as setting the strategy for the team. The Director, Procurement will have category expertise within three of the following categories; Marketing, HR, Professional Services or Travel. They will have global category exposure is a plus and segue into broader category responsibility both locally and internationally in the near future.

The Director, Procurement will pay from $150,000 to $180,000 base + bonus / incentives and offers a great opportunity to build up from scratch the corporate procurement functions acros North America .
