About Our Client

Our client is a niche manufacturing company with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to the expansion of their supply chain team, they are looking to add a Master Scheduler to the organization. The ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long term career opportunity within a startup culture.

Job Description

The Master Scheduler will be responsible for facilitating the daily relationship between purchasing and manufacturing. This person will need to maintain a master production schedule to ensure that production is efficient, accurate, and on time. Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Understand and analyze sales plans to ensure appropriate placement of orders/inventory levels
  • Manage production schedule and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate with team members on a regular, ongoing basis to compare all order information (delivery dates, colors, sizes, etc.)
  • Lead production planning meetings
  • Manage, communicate & resolve challenges that are faced at the vendor level, including PO delays, development delays, materials delivery issues, etc. to create win-win solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree required; preferred concentration in Supply Chain or Operations
  • Experience within an established ERP system
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices
  • Willingness to work as a member of a team
