The Nike, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.

  • Support various improvement initiatives from problem definition to implementation completion.
  • Support operations understanding root causes and defining best solution for various warehouse and distribution problems.
  • Help define success & delivery strategies along with tools to monitor and report results against the criteria set.
  • Work with team on project risks, budget, and schedule to ensure completion on time and with good ROI
  • Support Sr. Improvement Manager and NLS Director in coaching continuous improvement strategies, procedures, processes, and methodologies
  • Support the NLS team in driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration, alignment and integrated planning and execution across different functions in a matrix organization
  • Facilitate discussions on project related topics to drive clarity and understanding among the cross functional members of the project team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with two year’s relevant work experience.  Two additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Good Continuous Improvement Capabilities, preferably Six Sigma Green Belt certified, experience with LEAN/TPS is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across various functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape.
  • Capacity to detect and highlight project dependencies across other initiatives in the network.
  • Entry level Change Management/ Transition skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.  Project management skills are a strong plus.
  • Comfortable with basic data analytics and statistics. Able to execute data driven root cause analysis to find solutions with optimal ROI.
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations a strong plus. Experience with ERP systems a plus.
  • Ability to articulate, drive, and ensure process standardization and adoption of best practices. 
  • Full command of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word).
