Job Description

[Key Areas of Responsibilities]

  • Create the baseline demand forecast: Use all relevant inputs (ie Statistical Forecasts, Historical sales, base CDP,..) and prepare a 12 months baseline forecast. This to be enriched on relevant input from Marketing and Sales (ie: distribution changes, competition, pricing impact, market intelligence,..)
  • Maintain 12 months rolling forecast in planning system: in APO DP and GPT where applicable, consisting of baseline forecast and promotional forecasts and NPI. Weekly exception based review and adaptation of short term demand plans in APO DP using relevant inputs ensuring planning systems to be updated at any time.
  • Analyse operational planning performance of sales vs plan. Defines root causes/corrective actions collaborating with other functions as input for next planning cycles.
  • Lead Category Demand Planning Meeting : With fact-based analysis and assumptions underpinning the demand forecast, Lead planning meeting by category/channel for the CO S&OP meeting to allow decision taking on the final consensus plan, highlighting issues like excess stock, constraints etc.
  • Follow S&OP alignment: In generating these inputs the DP strictly follow the described S&OP processes.
  • Phase-in/Phase-out mgt: Recommend items for de-stocking based on inventory turnover/ageing and excess analysis. Maintain/control PHIO plans, highlight issues of supply-demand discrepancies.
  • Availability and supply demand balancing : Based on Signoff plan, monitoring of supply-demand and communication with SC to ensure the right supply intakes
  • Inventory Management: Regular review of the commercial inventories. Recommend optimal safety stock levels based on requested service level and inventory targets. Review current and projected excess and ageing stock and drive PDCA.

[Qualifications & Desired Characteristics]

  • 3 ~ 7 yrs in SCM operation experience
  • Comprehensive know-how about sales processes
  • Leadership & coaching skills.
  • Able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels
  • Self starter, able to drive changes in complex environment
  • Good communication skills, fluent in English and Korean
  • Analytical Characteristic
