Within GOT, Global Sourcing & Manufacturing (GSM) manages Nike’s contract manufacturing supply chain. Together with our factory partners, we are increasing a smarter, more connected and automated supply chain to meet growing consumer demand. The Performance Management team within GSM is responsible for reporting on the operating performance and strategic capabilities of our factory partners portfolio, to inform strategic decisions by our senior leadership.

As the Director of Performance Measurement & Analysis, you will report to the Director of Performance Management and be part of the team that guides the definition of the metrics and processes that enable GSM to guide and continuously improve the performance of our portfolio of factory partners. You will use data to derive key insights to inform strategic choice-making by our senior leaders. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the GSM performance administration framework and the Nike Strategic Sourcing Framework.

As the Director of Performance Analytics, you will:

  • Impact, through data analysis and insight, strategic decisions to optimize the operational performance of Nike’s contract manufacturing supply chain
  • In partnership with other subject matter experienced professionals in the organization, develop measurement tools and data collection processes to quantify often qualitative or subjective information
  • Contribute to evolve the quantitative targets (KPIs) that comprise the GSM and enterprise-level performance metrics

To be successful you will need:

  • A creative and critical thinking mind, with excellent quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to turn quantitative information into intuitive visualization resources
  • Understanding of governance structures and processes at large enterprises
  • Attention to detail, balanced by big picture orientation
  • Ability to strengthen results within a highly matrixed and complex organization
  • High level of creative curiosity


Qualifications
  • Professional experience in operations research, supply chain analytics, production management or similar fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with focus on Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Finance. Graduate degree a plus
  • 7+ years relevant work experience in consulting, finance, operations management, supply chain management, or related field
  • Experience in the apparel or footwear industry a plus.
