Job Description

  • In this role, you will engage with Supply Chain Mission Based Team to focus on Assembly Demand and improve customer fulfillment metrics. You will be working with the customer teams in defining scope, requirements and recommendation alignments.
  • You will be responsible to understand as-is process, identify process gaps and improvement opportunities for the to-be process for improving schedule stability and customer fulfillment.
  • You will be responsible to understand current operational landscape and business model, identifying key stakeholders and process deep dives to understand technology landscape, key metrics, data flow, tools and pain points.
  • You will conduct industry benchmarking and suggest best practices. You will analyze business impact and ease of implementation for the identified opportunities.
  • You will design detailed solutions and recommend next steps for implementation and change management.
  • You will be tracking key KPIs, success factors and program milestones and keep the customer teams updated.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary contact for the project engagement and share timely updates on the project status
  • Analyze process maps, data flow diagrams, process gaps and pain points to identify opportunities
  • Conduct Internal data analysis and External Benchmarking
  • Root cause analysis, Issue tree analysis and Opportunity prioritization
  • Identify quick wins and propose recommendations for the prioritized opportunities
  • Implementation plan and To-be solution design
  • Progress and Issue Tracker, KPI monitoring dashboards to track improvements
  • Coordinate with functional teams to drive solutions for key customer issues
  • Create effective partnerships to improve and ensure sustainable customer fulfillment processes

The Successful Applicant

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain management
  • At least 3 years of experience in an engineering, operations, supply chain or production planning position
  • Demonstrated use of project management skills and metrics to achieve program goals
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, ability to document, plan and execute programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer relationship building skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma / Process Improvement activities
  • APICS Certification preferred (CPIM / CSCP)
  • Experience with CAS, APS and IMPACT tools
  • CAS: Consolidated Associated System: Manufacturing assembly production system
  • APS: Advanced Planning System: Material and Demand Planning
  • IMPACT: Improved Material Productivity to Achieve Cost Targets: Sourcing System, managing suppliers, their contracts, and purchase orders, invoices
  • Strong Business Acumen, Analytical capability and data modeling
  • Demonstrated understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and influence customer and peers
  • Demonstrated capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
