Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Bring your strategic approach and formulate the long-term logistics policy for North America (NA) Market Fulfillment, taking into account all the relevant factors for integrated management.  You will initiate changes to our logistics management concepts in accordance with the requirements of the business, which will lead to improvements across the entire supply chain.  Additionally, you will manage the overall integral logistics department via a large number of department managers.

This position is based in Lockbourne, OH (located approximately 20 minutes south of Columbus, OH).

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Building and managing the full Fulfillment P&L under the direction of the NA Head of Operations.

  • Effectively managing inventories and ensuring the site meets or exceeds weekly key accuracy, service, productivity, safety, and expense performance indicators and goals.

  • Leading and developing internal team members along with managing third party logistic (3PL) resources and relationships.

  • Driving accountability for results by reviewing weekly business and identifying actions that drive improvements in site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with 3PL.

  • Closely tracking and driving strategic decisions to positively influence key performance indicators (KPI's) using site analytics.

  • Analyzing KPI's and metrics to identify trends, while recommending actions for improvement.

  • Identify and drive execution of continuous improvement opportunities within Fulfillment operations based on results of key performance indicators.

  • Building and reviewing processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ensures facility operations meets channel goals, customers' expectations, and eCommerce fulfillment best practices.

  • Collaborates in the fulfillment planning and execution of  activities

  • Build, develop, and provide growth opportunities for your team

  • Responsible for ensuring the consistent operations of packaging, warehouse, transportation, and distribution.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering)

  • Master’s or Advanced degree ideal

  • 10+ years’ previous high-level fulfillment operations management experience in packaging, warehousing, and distribution

  • 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role leading high-performance teams

  • Multi-Facility experience preferred

  • Large retail and eCommerce experience preferred

  • Proven interpersonal relationship, and verbal/written communication skills

  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

  • Previous experience with both inbound and outbound international shipments preferred

  • Experience in Lean, daily management, continuous improvement and/or six sigma initiatives
