In this role, you have the opportunity to

To have the opportunity to growth the revenue of the company by bringing breakthrough to the Market organization.

You are responsible for

  • The integration and alignment of global procurement strategy and policy with the local organizations business plan.
  • Stakeholder management (CEO/CFO and other functional executives) in the assigned organizational scope.
  • Challenge ways of working and drive change to enable cost savings both internally as with the supplier.
  • Manage the portfolio of products and gain deep understanding of the supply market.
  • Develop and manage key strategic supplier partnerships with regard to the most critical commodity and commodity clusters.
  • Leading the supplier sourcing process for the global suppliers in the assigned scope Leading business review
  • Give guidance to a multi-functional team of sourcing specialists globally (e.g. supplier quality, commodity engineers and local procurement specialists).
  • Gain deep understanding of the supply market and deploy in the local commercial organizations. Ensuring that all Procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated.
  • In addition, be the back-up for the Commodity Cluster Leader and take the lead in coordinating several team efforts for the entire S&S cluster

You are a part of

Tightly embedded on the market organization for NAM you will lead a team of strong Commodity manager focusing on developing business and reducing cost. You will manage a team of very independent and focus people and will need to drive them to achieve.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master or similar level
  • More than 10 years in procurement
    Strong negotiator, have expertise in cost structure of suppliers,
  • Capability to challenge organization and have breakthrough thinking
  • Management skill
