Be part of a vastly dynamic organization and growing team by evaluating and creating new supply chain and project planning concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope, in line with the business strategy. You will work as an integrator together with experts and partners from North America Market, also the Integrated Supply Chain, and Business Groups to help translate the strategic business plans into operational excellence in Market to Order (M2O) and Order to Cash (O2C).

Additionally, the leading process management efforts to ensure there are clear handoffs and ownership in each step in the supply chain to reduce defective arrivals.

You are responsible for

  • Actively drives integration across the E2E value stream by identifying key drivers of value and influencing others to work cross functionally to increase operational excellence and customer value
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with experts and partners from NAM Market, Integrated Supply Chain, and Business Groups
  • Drives process improvements and hands over sustainable solutions to the responsible organization, embedded into their standard work
  • Contribute to the deployment of tactical, financial and operational plans by driving continuous improvement in NAM & Supply Chain processes
  • Works closely with IT and Platform experts to clarify requirements and approve solutions designs by IT
  • Actively drives a culture of continuous improvement demonstrating LEAN methodology and Philips Excellence Practices
  • Actively campaigns for quality and constantly seeks opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and cost-efficiency
  • Applies influence and negotiation skills to persuade others and achieve effective solutions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor of Science or Business (MBA a plus!)
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, project planning, and scheduling, and/or logistics and distribution management
  • Proven ability to collaborate with other functions to achieve overall business objectives
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring a high level of collaboration
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and their financial impact
  • Experienced in conducting critical path analysis, analysis of changes to schedule assumptions and impact on targets
  • Demonstrated track record in using continuous process improvement / lean methodologies to resolve complex supply chain, project management or implementation issues
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Advanced knowledge of databases and software skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel with pivots and v-lookups), Power BI (or Tableau), and SAP
  • Flexible work style, adaptable to internal and external customer requirements supported by a creative mind and the ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all department and organizational levels
