Sr. Supply Planner

Location: Stamford Area, CT, United States

Responsible for supply planning and purchasing of assigned categories.



Support Marketing with Sample Ordering for PR and Events. Support Logistics team with accurate product information to assist with Tariff Coding and County of Origin. Support Quality and Warranty Teams with ad hoc procurement and stock management.


Analyze daily MRP results to generate purchase orders. Review open PO’s, maintain accurate pricing, delivery status, and perform PO cancellations when needed.


Creates and maintains Material Master & Purchase Info Record data in SAP as needed.


Maintain Vendor Database, including factory addresses, contact lists, and set up vendor information in SAP.


Proven successful experience in an inventory management, planning, MRP, forecasting, or closely related role. In-depth experience with and knowledge of SAP a must. Experience in consumer goods importing.

BS/BA degree with 4+ years’ experience in purchasing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Supply Chain Management, Production, or Business Administration or related field, but not a requirement.



Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of purchasing. Knowledge of the Cycling Industry or passion for the sport.
