In this role, you have the opportunity to

use your in depth supply chain knowledge to design and evaluate new supply chain concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope, in order to achieve the Business strategy. Based on a fact-based, data driven approach achieve truly impactful improvements. Avoid sub-optimization by going from helicopter to core process level in a split second.

In this role you will report to: Head of Supply Chain Engineering

You are responsible for:

  • Developing new concepts in Supply Chain and designs for new or existing value streams, according to the strategy of the business. Your scope will be the global Integrated E2E Supply Chain.
  • Designing and implementing future (via A&PC and PDLM processes) and re-designing existing supply chain networks and capabilities for best fit with supply chain requirements, based on the inputs from the business group O2F strategy (derived from the business strategy).
  • Deploying key elements of integrated supply chain strategy.
  • Taking the lead in transforming the Supply Chain and influencing the supply chain related strategies of the assigned businesses and markets by working closely with the relevant senior management.
  • Leading major change programs across the integrated supply chain, businesses and markets.
  • Initiating, coordinating and integrating improvements through projects of Supply Chain process optimization and organizational change by developing and aligning the global E2E supply chain processes between the different groups in the integrated supply chain, the businesses and the markets, working closely with business process owners.

You are a part of

The Supply Chain engineering team for our Systems and Medical Devices business. As we value diversity, we have a lot of resources and an international and multi-functional team to support you.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Requires a Master’s degree; preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, and Engineering
  • 10 + years of related experience in development and implementation of lean global E2E supply chains in health systems or similar highly regulated industries
  • Preferably Supply Chain experience in both system and product (FMCG) businesses
  • 5 + years’ experience of leading major global change programs
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems and state-of-the art digital solutions
  • Certified as Lean practitioner
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, value stream mapping and process management to drive improvements and to solve complex problems in a global supply chain environment.
  • Possesses strong working knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including the underlying theories and concepts
  • Has a very strong and broad understanding of products and services within the functional area, as well as the operational logistic processes, business strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Strong understanding of E2E production cycles
  • Can interpret Customer needs and translate them into a supply chain process/policy
  • Effectively manages the stakeholder ecosystem by applying influencing and negotiation skills to persuade others, cultivate ‘win-win’ value, and positively position our brand.
  • Ability to influence others within own organization, as well as senior management
  • Acts as advisor and mentor to colleagues and/or subordinates
  • Challenges self and others to develop reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
