Essential Job Functions

  • Lead a team of supply chain professionals with the responsibility of developing, improving and implementing a unique generic pharmaceuticals supply chain and distribution network that is the foundation for a commercial network.
  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of related business processes.
  • Work on global strategic projects for an individualized supply chain
  • Lead the oversight of a very complex supply chain with numerous SKUs working with various international suppliers
  • Monitor inventory –
  • optimizing the inventory levels in the US warehouse
  • reducing inventory carrying costs at the same time avoiding shortages
  • Enhance planning to streamline 70% deliveries to the warehouse come via ocean
  • Continue to evaluate the costing and value from all supply chain providers including both internal and external.
  • Oversee the current forecasting model using data from IMS and data collected from customer for increased accuracy. Continue to develop additional tools to increase accuracy.
  • Work with Regulatory and Commercial Operations to anticipate new product introductions and plan accordingly
  • Lead the reconciliation of Failure to Supply claims and make reclaims

Education, Experience and Attributes:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Finance
  • Three years prior Pharmaceutical Supply Chain experience
  • Strong experience in the manufacturing environment, a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Multi-National Corporations
  • Excellent computer skills with strong IT systems and finance background
  • Able and available for minimal international travel (1x per year)
