About Our Client

Our client is a global consumer products company headquartered in Chicago's Northern suburbs. They have been in business over 40 years and enjoy healthy financials and a collaborative workplace culture. This is a fully remote role during COVID but will eventually return to the office when safe.

Job Description

The Production Analyst will:

  • Set up of Production planning and material flow processes for large scale manufacturing operations. This includes development of planning system, independent requirements, routing and bill of materials and all other required master data within SAP
  • Establish production and inventory plans that balances production resources, supports customer requirements and meets company inventory objectives
  • Ensure SAP tool is utilized effectively to perform detailed scheduling by maintaining the appropriate planning and eliminating manual processes
  • Communicate risks and/or changes that will impact the supply of materials
  • Attend daily cross-functional tiered meeting for schedule input and tracking performance to plan
  • Process Order creation, maintenance, TECO and close with SAP Process Planning module
  • Long range forecasting for product manufacturing activities
  • Monitor purchase orders and receipt of raw materials to date of release. Work cross-functionally with the Procurement and Quality to expedite as needed.
  • Generate and distribute/post updated schedule as required
  • Develop effective department metrics, KPI's and monitoring of site performance to integrated schedule
  • Facilitate SAP corrections as needed

The Successful Applicant

The successful Production Analyst will have:

  • 1-3 years of production scheduling or planning experience
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field

What's on Offer

The target compensation for the Production Analyst is $55,000-65,000 base salary commensurate with candidate experience.
