Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the sourcing efforts for direct materials and components such as motors, extrusions, metals, plastics, die castings, LCD screens, technology, cords/wires, etc.
• Research and identify the best technology and components on the market
• Develop and manage supplier relationships along with negotiating contractual agreements
• Work cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing, ops and quality teams to resolve any issues
• Improve costs, efficiencies and quality for both short term and long term growth
• Manage the sourcing efforts by implementing processes & procedures, setting standards and deadlines
• Identify areas of improvement and plans to set the business up for future success
• Manage, mentor and scale a team of sourcing professionals
• Conduct reviews to present to the Executive team

Experience must include:

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree. Degree in Engineering is preferred
• 10+ years of sourcing, engineering & operations experience
• Experience sourcing BOTH mechanical and electronic components/materials
• Strong proven leadership experience and people management experience
• Having experience in a high-growth/start up and also an established company with best practices would be ideal
• Strategic mind-set
