Job Description

  • Enter all customer orders into the ERP system to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products to customers.
  • Act as the single point of contact point for all buyers to help with any questions related to their order, which may include proactive issue resolution and order revisions.
  • Confirm all POs with appropriate parties to ensure proper communication is met.
  • Set up all freight details related to raw materials and finished goods transportation, as well as, coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic.
  • Follow-up with external/internal suppliers on late deliverables, open issues, and track status of product shipments when needed.
  • Maintain and archive supporting documents for inventory movements and shipments, such as bill of ladings (BOL) and proof of receipt.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize freight carrier network on an ongoing basis to maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to negotiating and a willingness to be able to work to time sensitive deadlines is essential.
  • Develop contingency plans to account for temporary transportation disruption.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-7 years of supply chain experience within consumer goods
  • must be local to the so-cal area, Los Angeles is a plus
  • Experienced with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system
  • proficient in excel
  • food and beverage experience is a plus
