Our Client is a fast growing Global Medical Device Manufacturer. With thousands of employees across the world they are looking for an entreprenurial Demand Planning Analyst who can join their newly created center of excellence team. They are one of the fastest growing companies serving the high tech, high growth medical device industry. They are an ambitious company with large financial backing and are looking for a Senior S&OP Analyst who wants to go to the next level with them.

This newly created role will sit in their corporate office within their new Centre of Excellence department. The Senior S&OP Analyst - Demand Planning owns demand planning best practices and analytics for the organization. This includes analytics related to statistical modelling and projects to continuously improve forecast metrics throughout the supply chain. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Playing a key role in creating an unbiased, accurate demand (Forecast) plan that is critical for planning material flow throughout the supply chain
  • Implement monthly sales and operations planning process with key customers
  • Track and enable S&OP to achieve weekly and monthly forecast accuracy and related forecast metrics
  • Lead monthly statistical forecast update process- including data cleansing- model selection optimization- model implementation- and results tracking
  • Perform analytical reviews to drive optimized forecast plan- statistical models and continuous improvement throughout demand planningApplying market intelligence to the demand plan. Market intelligence may come from sales, marketing, key accounts, and other sources
  • Leveraging forecast performance metric tools to measure accuracy, assess the quality and frequency of overrides, assess forecast bias, and identify and address the largest sources of forecast error
  • Participating in and possibly facilitating the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Review meetings by business portfolio. This process focuses on the alignment between the demand plan and the business plan (OP/QOR)
  • Maximizing the effectiveness of the statistical forecast by adjusting/ cleansing historical demand and determining appropriate levels of aggregation for calculating the statistical forecast

The Successful Applicant

The Senior S&OP Analyst - Demand Planning qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years experience of supply chain

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Operations Management from an accredited institution
  • Strong data analysis and data interpretation skills
  • Strong presentation skills and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
  • Analytical skills, technical aptitude and knowledge of analytical tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
  • Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
