Job Description

As an Inventory Planning Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Run inventory reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of item performance
  • Identify 'heavy' and 'low turn' inventory items and maintain communication reports for sales team
  • Perform and track inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance analysis)
  • Determine and set pricing for parts on sales allowances
  • Manage and control each branch parts inventory level, ensuring an adequate inventory and efficient use of warehouse space
  • Assist with branch inventory audits as necessary
  • Produce branch stock orders to ensure 'best buy' pricing by using sound judgment along with consultation from branch
  • Work with overseas vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements
  • Manage obsolete and excess inventory

The Successful Applicant

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years experience of supply chain

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Operations Management from an accredited institution
  • Analytical skills, technical aptitude and knowledge of analytical tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
  • Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
  • Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) a plus
  • JD Edwards experience is a plus
  • Prior experience working with overseas vendors is a plus
