In this role, you have the opportunity to

Use your skills and experience in a challenging environment in order to shape our global supply chain organization in the field of Operational Material Management. Philips Operational Material Management is a high paced, dynamic organization that is responsible for getting the right parts to the right place at the right time.

In this role, you will manage availability of material through the proper material Master Data setup, capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers, and mitigation of supply risks and issues.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Leading the development and implementation of supply chain strategy for the Monitoring & Analytics to support enterprise goals

  • Customer Demand fulfillment and End-to-End Inventory management to target

  • End-to-End cycle time reduction programs to respond faster to changing demand while decreasing inventories and maintaining service levels by ensuring material availability in the supply chain & establishing an inventory policy according to business priorities

  • Leading Tactical material and capacity planning (supplier forecast and handshake feedback) in an optimized way using planning calculation methods

  • Operational Planning, Buying and Supplier Performance management

  • Sound material management process execution and capability building based on customer feedback and continuous improvement

  • Managing optimal Supply Chain Performance (OTIF, OTTR, OTTP, Fill Rate) where Operational Material Management is the driver. Ensuring Root Cause analysis and corrective actions are in place.

  • Leading and developing the team to ensure the right long and short-term capabilities.

  • Developing site capabilities and Supply Chain initiatives to support Supply Chain performance over a multi-year horizon

  • Managing function cost to budget

  • New product introduction ramp up and down.

  • Mitigating in case of supply risks and issues, including ownership of escalation management

  • Defining master data strategy to enable touchless replenishment in an industrial environment

You are part of

Global Operational Material Management (OMM) team, working closely with various team in Philips globally such as commodity management leadership, manufacturing leadership, OMM leadership, supply chain engineering etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree  (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience

  • Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases

  • Procurement Governance experience

  • Cross-functional experience in related functions

  • Global Project Management experience

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
