  • Responsible for production planning, capacity planning, and scheduling of resources (including the utilization of labor/equipment) in support of customer and 'make to stock' (MTS) requirements.
  • Proactively work with the manufacturing and procurement teams to coordinate, plan, schedule, and monitor product flow throughout the material acquisition/production/delivery process to ensure OTD.
  • Ensure the timely processing/scheduling of material within the manufacturing process to achieve customer commitments.
  • Monitor material supply flow and identify/action/resolve shortages or process bottlenecks to ensure the timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, and customers to ensure the Company's supply needs are fulfilled to meet OTD commitments.
  • Ensure the organization is informed of status/changes to current production and delivery schedules in an effective and timely manner.
  • Ensure inventory levels are managed throughout the production and delivery process.
  • Utilize ERP system to effectively schedule, plan, monitor and forecast manufacturing requirements.
  • Analyze labor, equipment, and materials requirements to support current and forecasted production demand.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors in business administration
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a master planner/production planner
  • Advanced understanding of supply chain activities and methodologies
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems
  • Proficient with various Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and possess the ability to lead a team if required.
