In this role, you have the opportunity to

Become the onsite Subject Matter Expert, helping to lead and manage the 3rd Party Logistic providers for Medical Devices.  Your responsibilities will focus on the Sleep and Respiratory Care and Image Guided Therapy businesses.

You are responsible for

  • Supervising distribution efforts within our 3rd party logistics warehouse.
  • Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and site liaison, while working with internal Philips teams and 3rd party logistics teams.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects, running daily management and executing tasks to meet KPI’s .
  • Receiving assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
  • Provides support to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Proactively recommends changes to physical distribution unit policies.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
  • Providing reports to senior physical distribution management level incumbents.
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
  • Supporting on site teams by encouraging cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in warehousing or physical distribution
  • Knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Managed functions
  • Familiar with inbound receiving, picking and shipping orders and inventory management
  • Experience leading and support continuous and process improvement projects
  • SAP System Administrator – responsible for all SAP access and account assignments/training assignments.
  • Experience with daily management and KPI reporting (a plus)
  • Strong communication both verbal and written, with the ability to provide concise updates to leadership
